ARES Scholarships 2027–2028 in Belgium: Fully Funded International Training Opportunities

The ARES Scholarships 2027–2028 offer international students and professionals from eligible developing countries the opportunity to pursue specialized Bachelor’s, Advanced Master’s, and continuing education programmes in Belgium.

The scholarships cover major study-related expenses, including tuition, travel, living costs and insurance. Nepal is among the 32 eligible countries.

  • 8 Specialized Master’s programmes, including Human Rights, International & Development Economics, Microfinance, Public Health and Food Safety
  • Continuing Education Certificate in Cybersecurity Operations and Risk Governance

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Permanently reside and work in one of the 32 eligible countries.
  • Hold a relevant higher education degree.
  • Have at least two years of relevant professional experience after their highest higher-education degree.
  • Meet the admission requirements of the selected programme.
  • Have obtained the required degree within the last 20 years, subject to ARES rules.
  • Apply for only one programme.

How to Apply

Applicants must create or use an ARES GIRAF account, access the 2027–2028 international training application, complete the form and submit it online before the deadline. Once submitted, applications cannot be modified.
